Custom black and white torch.

I did it. I transplanted the bodies of a black and a white torch to make my custom torch. I don't have a working computer thanks to my puppy so I used twitter to give me viewable links of my pictures. Happy modding.

Yeah I would have to go ahead and buy a new LCD for that mod. Green with a black keyboard and digitizer would be hot

I took on the mission because the white bezel is scratched after I dropped it on Bourbon Street. Watching video after video of the teardown I went for it. Since I wasn't removing the LCD I think it was easier.

Ever since I got my white 9700, I've kind of lost interest in white devices, just because they're a lot of work, you have to worry about keeping them clean, because the plastics will yellow, and the whole deal, plus having a white device made me appreciate how appealing the black and chrome look really is.

I'm not a fan of white phones but that's still pretty cool. You could probably start doing that for other people for a small fee and make a bit of extra cash.

I don't believe I could do this reliably every time. I'm willing to live with imperfections I caused but couldn't do that for others.

True. Though I'm sure there are at least a few people who may ask you to do something like this for them if you showed them your work.

Yeah but if i lost both berrys is still have my inspire and iPhone. Most people don't have extra phones. I can experiment a little.

That's why I always keep at least one phone as a backup in case something happens to my main one.
