Crashing nonstop?!?!?!
My phone hasn't stopped crashing. I'll make a phonecall then it'll go black and reboot, i'll use twitter, then it reboots, i'll search websites, then it'll reboot. WHAT IS GOING ON!?!?!

replace it or reload the OS and see if it happens again. If it happens again after the reload, then exchange it.

I would try reloading the os and then your settings and programs manually.

Before you reload the OS, check the battery and see if it sits properly in the cavity. There may be something mucked up back there.

I would love to return it but I live in canada and I bought this phone at walmart in NY. I'll wait for the new OS. It's seems to be working fine right now. I don't get why it resets constantly then it's fine.

Take out your media card or wipe everything off the media card, i'm assuming you transfered your old media card from your 9700 into the 9800? Mine was doing the same thing and i found out it was my media card... I'm not sure if there is another way around it, but i would give it a try.

As I said in another thread you posted about the same exact thing (how many do you really need?) That it could very likely be the OS doesn't like your carrier. You're running an unlocked device on an unapproved carrier. This phone and particular OS version are designed specifically for AT&T. More than likely the OS is reacting to the different network. This happened with a particular leaked version of OS 5 for the Bold 9000, AT&T users suffered reboot loops when installing that OS and rendered the phone mostly unusable with that build. Sounds like your only option is to wait for a possible leak as stated above and see if that helps.

It has nothing to do with the carrier. Both my friends use the same carrier as me and both have the Torch as they came with me yesterday to pick it up and they both don't have any problems with their's.
