Default Contact List

I have a few contact lists associated with my emails.
One of the contact lists there is assiciated with an email that I got rid of awhile back (the account was comprimised)
Is there anyway to get rid of that contact list?

Thanks in advance!

I don't follow, but if you are saying you have multiple address books on the BlackBerry and you want to delete one or more, you can used Desktop Manager and the selective backup/restore function and delete those databases.

Yes rinaldip I'm having the same issue.
I actually have 4 contact lists, only ONE of which is actually an email address defined on the BB. My default contact list is an email address that I don't even have anymore. I have deleted ALL address books via Desktop Manager, as suggested, then re-sync'd back from Yahoo.. no change.
I cannot find a Service book for the contact lists at all. Where are they?? I know they're called (SYNC) .. can't find them.

Hope someone can help me and rinaldip out! Thanks

Ah-HA! I have found the solution.

I have discovered there are hidden menus and functions in the BB.. why they are hidden I don't know. A list of these hidden menus and commands can be found here.. Hidden menus

If you go to Contacts, Options, It will show your contact lists defined there (3 of which I didn't want)
Type rset (no, there is no field or option to type it in, you just type it)
It will prompt something like "Wireless Sync for email.address is not enabled. Wipe contact list anyway?"
Click yes... and voila!
They're gone and I'm happy.

Working now on getting things restored back properly (I suppose being backed up under the other contact lists may cause me a problem. Some might have to be done manually. ... workin' on it.)

Brilliant! Thank you so much, seriously. This has been driving me nuts. I also found out that this is the cause of my Hotmail contacts not syncing despite sync being enabled, because I couldn't ever get that darn old Gmail list changed off of the default service!

This is amazing. Thanks again.
