    Some pics from bbleaks...I thought that there were not contact points for charging the devices via charging pods and that chargning would have to be via the USB port.

    I think you are correct on both accounts. It appears to be USB and there appears to be a charging cradle! :-)

    There are no contacts like the 9700 (sad)

    The cradle will use the USB connector which will be a bummer!

    I may pass on the cradle since it is just a USB connection for charging. That's alot to ask someone to pay for when it is just holding the device so that it can be charged. Hopefully, on the 98xx, the contact points will be available. Definitely not a deal breaker. I just hope that I can get a secured upgrade or an exception upgrade next week.

    Now that I have had a chance to see the cradle. I decided to bypass the PowerMat and get a cradle for the office and one for home. Thank goodness the car charger for my 9700 works with the Torch.
