my dad when into our local at&t store on sunday, and the supervisor said a new blackberry model is coming out in april. anyone know is it the slider or what it is?
It's already been confirmed for AT&T.. Though You can still unlock it for whatever carrier and no doubt that after a few months it won't be exclusive only for them.. I hope
If this is indeed a World Phone, it may just end up on Verizon and Sprint only after all. Now that is only if this is the Talladega/Storm 3 that we've heard about. If not, who knows for sure.
Verizon, to compete with the Moto Droid. Verizon sells more BB's than any other carrier so they will be first. At least I hope because I will want one.
Well, I thought AT&T but now it looks like Sprint... I just hope Verizon gets it someday. In two years Verizon is gonna blow all the other carriers away and everyone is gonna switch.. IMHO

I sure hope not... They have some very questionable practices on plan increases and whatnot that a lack of competition would amplify 10 fold...

yeah I agree, however Verizon will probably end up buying Sprint in the near future though.

Very unlikely lol... Sprint is getting a lot of people just by lowering their credit deposits... I was facing a $500 fee with Verizon and $750 for AT&T and $400 for T-mobile... I only had to pay a $50 deposit plus the taxes on my phone to get running... Plus Sprint runs on your credit so you paying your bills on time helps with raising your credit... I have two phones on Sprint on the Everything Share Data 1500 plan and I have made sure I have paid every bill so far because they gave me a chance... There are others I have sold to who are happy to have a plan instead of having to deal with the "prepaid" companies...
Most likely Sprint and ATT. Phonearena already has it listed under upcoming Sprint phones. Not sure on ATT. But from what it looks like it will be a CDMA/GSM phone.
