I have one contact that I can receive an SMS from but I cannot send to the same number. I can send an SMS to other numbers using the same international code. I do not get an error message.
I have tried my SIM in a different phone and got the same problem. My carrier is Vodacom SA, the receivers is Orange UK. Handset is BB9800.
I have deleted the contact, rebooted and recreated the contact with the same result.
I have have reported the problem to Vodacom. I need to wait 24 hours.
This is a new issue that has happened in the last few days. I have been able to contact this number for over 10 years. I can make and receive a successful voice call to this number.
Does anyone have any idea what is going on?
