Can"t attach documents to emails
Hi.
I can't seem to attach any documents when I'm sending an email via the email application on my phone. I have 1 gmail and 2 live accounts on my phone. When I click the attach option, I'm only allowed to attach a Picture or a Contact.
I also browsed the phone directory, highlighted the file & selected the 'send' option in the menu. The only 2 options I have are to send to a BBM Contact or via Bluetooth.
Is it even possible to attach a document (xls, doc, ppt) using the email application?
Anyway, I'm running OS 6.6.0.600 (Bundle 2467.) - 07-04-2012, 07:21 PM #2
That's weird. I email documents, power point slides and excel spreadsheets often. I just tested it after reading your post and had no issues. Is this a new problem?

I'm not sure but I've never been able to send documents from my Torch (9800.) I figure it may have something to do with my network (Digicel, Jamaica) but I'm not certain.

Thanks D_March.
At least you tried something. No one else here couldn't even suggest something to help. Anyway, for persons reading this that have the same issue, I have found the fix. Wiping your OS, like I did, will fix nothing because your account on your provider's BIS server will remain the same. In my case, it was Digicel, Jamaica.
All you need to do is to contact your BIS (mobile phone company) provider, have them delete the existing BIS account and create new one for you. They will likely give you a new username and password. Once that is done & you setup your email again, you can attach anything you like.
