Default In call screen button icon / labels not visible

Hi, recently the in-call touch screen function button labels have completely disappeared. I'm referring to the "mute, speaker, hold and add participant" button labels. The buttons themselves are visible (and they function) - just that the lables (i.e. the mute icon and the word "mute") are not visible.

I haven't downloaded any customisations or themes that would make such a change. Haven't updated the phone recently - so it can't be that. Tried restarting the 'phone, but still the button labels/icons are not visible...

Has anyone come across such an issue? Any ideas on how to rectify it?

    Thanks in advance.

PS: I'm referring to the 4 buttons shown in the in-call screen (bottom right). (Screenshot taen off Google)

    Reset the theme.

    Pull the battery.

I agree. It's the theme. If that doesn't work, then it's some bug.
