The only way I can do it right now is to put the speaker on and record it with the playbook

The microphones (2) are very good and it's a one button operation

I had the same problem trying to record cell phone calls. I found a company called RecordiaPro that, while not an app, does allow me to save my calls on my BB 9800 as Mp3's.

Outgoing calls are recorded by speed dialing an 800 number and then manually dialing the number you are looking to call. OR you can use the wait / pause function when programming a contact to make it automated.

Incoming calls are recorded by using busy call forwarding. They gave me a code to put into my phone and any time I want to record an incoming call I reject the call and it rings a moment later. I answer is and the call is recorded.
