I bought a phone through Telus a few months ago. I ended up losing it, and I am not going to pay full price for it. I decided to look for another phone. I looked through kijiji and this person is selling a blackberry torch 9800 brand new, unopened, through Telus. He is asking $300. A friend of mine told me I shouldn't buy through Kijiji, because it could be stolen. I have purchased items through this site (in person of course) and never had any issues. First of all is $300 is a good price he is asking. Or is he asking too much? Should I be worried to purchase this item, even if it is in person. Does anyone have suggestions what things to look for when buying a new or used phone through Kijiji, especially if it is in person. I want to be cautious and not be scammed. Any helpful information would be appreciated.
