I have checked all message folders (saved, deleted everything!), done a battery pull and resets. I can't find any messages to download. I can't get this indicator to go away! Anyone have any ideas on how to get this to go away?

Does the browser message not show in the expanded notification area ?

Try going into the browser, hit the bb button, and check for messages or settings??

Nope, not in expanded notifications. Nothing in browser either. I went into the messages and viewed all the folders individually and can't find anything.

Check to see if there is an upgrade to one of your apps.

I've checked all the apps and can't find any upgrades. Can't find any browser push messages, nothing in the messages, browser or anywhere else. I'm lost!

I don't think is's a browser message, although the icons are similar... What apps do you have on your phone, I bet it is a push notification from one of the apps... I had a wierd icon once that I couldn't figure out, turns out it was from a gami I downloaded...

Can you post a list of your apps, or go into each one, and check for messages / notifications...

are you using a theme, it could be that, some other people mentioned bluetooth, gps, browser, or an AT&T download waiting (like a back-up you did with them)
