I just got the device unlocked. My question is could I use it on the carriers over there? Actually, let me rephrase that. How would I get everything else up and running? Browser, mms, wifi, uma and all that good stuff. I see the tmobile version......how will I get it to work on the carriers in barbados?

I have mine hooked up with LIME in Antigua and everything works just fine.

I believe you would have to save the service books of the American carrier or something along the lines. There's actually a sticky to help you keep the service books after unlocking:
