Question Blackberry Virgin - 2 Torch Questions

    Hello:

I am a longtime (6 years) Windows Mobile user, and I'm checking out the Torch during the 30-day trial period from AT&T on my firm's enterprise account.

    2 Questions:

    1. I've managed to disable the ambient light sensor's effect on the screen (dimming), so now the screen is the same brightness all the time. How do you disable the ambient light sensor's effect on the physical keyboard's backlight? I find myself placing my finger over the sensor to get the keyboard backlight to come on. I would like the keyboard backlight to come on and stay on all the time.

    2. When I pinch zoom in the browser, the text does not "wrap" to fit the screen. I've watched a zillion unboxings and first looks, and this feature always just seems to work. On my device, I have to scroll side to side to read this text.

Thanks in advance for your help,
    Davin

    2. Double tap on the screen the area you want to zoom and the text will wrap. Double tapping again will unzoom the screen.

    1. Dim can be turned off through the display option
    2. don't pinch and zoom for text wrap all you have to do is double click the screen and the torch will automatically zoom and text wrap

Thanks everybody! Man, that keyboard backilighting thing "feature" is unfortunate! Hopefully, it will be addressed in a software update.
