Replaced ribbon cable as it was ripped
Replaced LCD as it had a crack, old version was 002 so I bought another 002 version
Still didn't work so I put the mother board into a different fully working bb torch 9800 and it had the same problem
So the problem is with the motherboard, I'm guessing its a software problem as the motherboard is in perfect condition
