Sure it's possible but it all depends on when testing began. I doubt its likely though. If they have done all this testing in the "dark" then I will avoid being first in line for this device as too many things will get missed.
Heh, I'll take it, bugs and all, and wait for new OS leaks. I am thinking mid-September now.
Don't know how reliable this is, but this Saturday I went into Costco to try to get replace my Curve 8310 with a Bold 9700, not knowing about the new one coming out, and the sales guy proceeded to tell me that they no longer had the 9700 except in the AT& stores since they were phasing it out for the touch screen slider 9800. He claimed that they would be in the AT&T stores on the 23rd, and that Costco would get it a few days after that.
Again, don't know if this is reliable info or a sales pitch. After reading the info on these boards, I'm not holding my breath.

23RD of this month?? would be nice, but for some reason I think if that is true we would of heard by now seeing how that's on friday

...I stated that ATT might be getting their devices for testing with RIM helping out on the weekends. I only put this last post at 1-2 weeks because I had not spoken to my bud in awhile, so you are most likely right on the 4 weeks.
