    hey everyone,
    i recently got myself a new blackberry torch. So i installed Blackberry maps and the problem is that i dont have a icon to Blackberry maps. i can find it in options > application management, though. And if i go to menu > show all is also wont pop-up, So can anyone of help me with my problem?

    i have installed the app, so i tried to start up up and it says: uncaught exception: could not start internal application. Any ideas? Thanks for your help btw.

    Maps application might not be properly loaded on the device. You can't actually download Maps online, it has to be loaded from the Desktop Manager.

    Did you load it that way?

    I did it load through the pc now, it will start up and I can do everything, but I can't see the map I just get a white screen. You have been very helpful, thanks. Any ideas how fix this?

    Google maps will not even load on my torch. when I'm trying to load it, i will get this message: network unavailable: this application requires a data connection and some blackberry devices require configuration to work propely

    I'm with vodafoneUK. Had same problem at first. Installed app again but before opening app I did a battery pull. Both bb maps and google maps now working fine.
