Hi - im looking to downgrade my firmware on a blackberry 9800 to v.6.0.0.246 multi language but cant find this - any help would be appriciated. Thanks

How long should the update take? It gets stuck on 231 out of 930...

To downgrade, wipe the device (including the OS), then reload the OS version you want. FWIW, the base firmware for my Torch was .246.

Junaid: first you say you want to upgrade, then you say you want to downgrade (actually, it looks like you copied/pasted martinbob's post from Sept 2011).

Upgrades can easily take 30 minutes or longer. My experience is that the upgrade is incomplete/corrupted if it hangs for over an hour. Best to wipe and start over. Hope you did a backup first.
