I have this problem with my BB torch , the keyboard lights up when booting but doewnt work at all , i bought a new keyboard but still the same problem . i heard that it could be a sensor problem ? how to fix that ?

I solved the same issue by opening up the case from the back of the phone and removing (cutting and pulling out) the cable that leads to the top 'unlock' button (and nothing else!). Mine had become permanently turned on so all the physical keys were locked all the time. I had hoped no one else would have to go through this, but just so you know, I had to use a T4 torx bit screwdriver (the star one, not the hex one) and a dime to pop open the plastic casing.
There are also people all over the other forums that seem to think that the keyboard is not set to QWERTY, but why would none of the keys work?
