it has to change!!! they have to make it more user friendly for the touch screens.... so i say lets encourage them to change it to something more like a slidelock and the a 4 number password from the dial screen , this would make it so much more easyier!!!!!!!!

I do wish the Torch (and any of the new touchscreen BB's) would come with a built-in slider screen lock. I use PatternLock to lock mine.

What I have learned is that this phone already has an existing Locking option, and it's under Security- Password. If you enable a Password look at 2 options that say: Lock After and Lock Handheld Upon Holstering. You can actually choose how long you want your phone to be locked with the Lock After option, AND if you keep your phone in it's holster it will stay locked for a certain amount of time.

I used PatternLock but my finger would get stuck on one of the circles so the password would always turn up incorrect.
