    Default BES removal?

I just bought a used Torch9800. It was a company phone & had a BES account on it. As usual it has an autolock set up on it & I haven't been able to disable it, even after getting some help from the former company's IT guy. He said the Torch hasn't been registered on their server since March & had me back up all my data using BB desktop then wipe it. I did that & it removed the companies name & info from the lock screen, but it still autolocks every hour. I changed the original password to one of my own but it still has the little lock icon beside the checked Enable box on the password screen. I can change the number of password attempts (10 Max) & the lock time (1 hr max) but thats it. I can't enter any new info message on lock screen either.
I know its not a huge deal, but its a pain nonetheless.
I called the IT again this morning & he said he would look into it further. I have been doing some searching of my own and have wound up here.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

PS: no stolen phone here....ask me anything, I have nothing to hide!

    Thanks,

    Paulie

NVM.....I did a little more digging, downloaded JL_Cmder & I am now in full control of my 'new' Torch9800!!!! Yay!
I will pass the info along to the IT guy on Monday.
