Did the same thing after I upgraded to 526 OS. I deleted the the program, and tried to download a new version from Mobihand, Got the same results. Think the OS is the causing the problem. I have E mailed the developer to let him know. I think there will have to be an upgrade to the program.
I'm on .526 but for some reason when I slide it, it doesn't do the slide motion. It just appears from the far left to the far right when I slide my finger. Anyone else have this problem?
When you get: Uncaught exception java.lang.illegalargumentexception, that mean you have recently downloaded an app or theme that is not compatible with the os of your bb.
To solve the problem, delete the app or theme, reboot your bb, battery pull.
You will be ok after that.
I reinstalled it and it seems to happen when I try to restore my options..Also doesn't show animation it takes a while for it to slide and looks sluggish even when I slide it fast to unlock phone, I know its not the screen sensitivity because I already tried that. Any suggestions on getting that fixed? I tried to contact support twice within past week and no reply.
I'm getting the slider animation lag as well. I did a re-install of both the app and the entire OS. Works perect on 6.0.246, but gives the slide animation lag on 6.0.526 Torch 9800. The app will need an update to bring the slide animation code compliant with OS .526.
And knowing app developers on this platform, that will be close to never. Out of the nearly fifty themes and seventy apps I have bought (refund ability, anyone?) I can easily say that less than 20% have been updated in the last three months.
Oh well, I am just going to be using the beautiful quickslide instead.
