hi....

I have got an unlocked BB9800 torch (probably from ATT as the screen showns that when i restart the fone).

I am using Simple Mobile as service provider but I am unable to use the inernet or BIS.

The simple Mobile webiste shows this phone is not compatible with thier service.

Can anyone tell me how to get around this/?

It would be up to your carrier to offer a BIS plan for your phone. Without it you will be unable to use most of the features on a BB.

Even with the plan , BB torch 9800 does not work as it is not one of the compatible fones listed by Simple Mobile.

The BB plan is only for the BBM and other BB services to work. In my case there is no internet at all...

Please help me with any suggestions for this

You need BIS in order to get "internet".

You need to get a compatible device. Most likely a TMobile branded device since that's what Simple Mobile runs on.

You might try manually loading the TMobile Service Books and see if that works.

do i have to remove the older service books then>??
