Hello Guys.
Am new to this forum and to blackberry.
I got a Blackberry Torch 9800 from a friend.
It has a issue that it went of dead all of sudden and it had OS loading bar and Red light blinks. Now no loading bars, just the red light blinks 2 times.

My PC detects the Device and also Desktop Manager detects it as BB 9800.

I tried the Nuked tutorial but as soon i get USB-UNKNOWNPIN i click next, in 10sec my BB9800 reboots and the App loader process ends.

Even in Desktop manager i clicked Connect to device and i clicked Update and it again reboots after 10sec or so.

I have to fix this device now and give it back to him.

Its barely 2days old and its from AT&T and unlocked.


Kindly give me a noob work around for this

Am madly in need to fix this.

Guys help me out in this.

I had an issue like that with my Torch 9800. I hope updating the software works coz that's what worked with me.. Just try updating it using BDS after it's fully charged.

i am also facing the same problem.
when i checked it is showing shot . I think that there is some leakage from rf ic dats why i am trying to rework the fone .
get back to u as soon as i find the solution
