im just curious as to why everytime i have to reboot my phone the red x around my battery comes up again. yes this is a different battery and i put it in the little device to transfer the code but is there a way around having to do the transfer everytime i reboot the phone?

Yes, buy a "real" OEM battery. The cheap knockoffs typically require the code to be reentered after every reboot/battery pull.

Having to input the transfer code everytime you reboot is the small print the non-OEM battery makers fail to tell you in their ads. To me, it is not worth the hassle. Like saudadeii said, stick with the OEM battery. May cost more, but reliablity and ease of use makes up for the cost.
