    Default backup help!!

i was updating my os with a newer version of device software. the software as usual made its backup and formatted the phone. it then reinstalled it and was waiting for the phone to initialize before restoring data. i cancelled the operation by mistake midway. My backup never got restored!!!!! is there any way to locate the backup the installer made and restore it on the phone?

Run DM and choose Restore. It should default to the directory where the most recent backup was made.

That should not matter. It's the same app whether you click loader.exe or if it launches from DM. Loader.exe makes the backup, and it should create the .ipd file as a backup. Try the restore. See if you see a backup file dated that day.
