    It looks like an old bugaboo is back. I had App World Beta on my Torch. App World offered the latest version 3.0.0.73. After download. when I click in the desktop icon the phone freezes necessitating a reboot.

    Has anyone else had this problem? Do we just wait for RIM to fix this?

    I guess my complaint was premature. I just tried the App World icon on the desktop and the app loads fine. This is weird!

    Did the upgrade yesterday on my 9800 and 9000. Works fine but I did not have the beta.

    Did you uninstall the beta first?
