I was wondering if it is possible for me to trade in my Torch 9800 for the Bold 9900? I got the Torch back in mid March, and I really don't like it near as much as my old Bold. I am also with a new 3 year contract with TELUS and have been with them for over 3 years now.

You'll need to sell your 9800 privately and pay for the balance for the 9900.

Take a look at Telus' "Early Upgrade" program on their website. It should be less than buying completely out of contract. Alternately, try calling the Loyalty dept. And explaining your situation. You may be able to get an outright discount.
