alt+trackpad to zoom
Sorry if I'm late to catch on to this, but I just noticed, if you hold "alt" and the swipe your trackpad up you can zoom in on a web page; swipe down to zoom out.

works in the browser and the photos, learned it when the 9700/9670 BB6 leaked out
8100->9530->8130->8830->8330(blacked out) ->9630(Blacked out) -> HTC Hero ->9700(chromized) -> 9800 -> HTC Desire -> LG Optimus7 -> 9000
