All leaked apps we are seeing now require BB ID, wich itself is part of OS 6.1

* APP WORLD
* Facebook

etc.

so its safe to say all current os 6 phones will get some sort of OS 6.1, what do you guys think?

I think it likely that 512Mb devices will get OS6.1. I am doubful for 256Mb phones.

Unless they strip down all BB ID requirements from these apps, i think its a safe bet.

Also, 6.1 is just an incremental update, not a jump like it was from 5 to 6.

Safe to think that all apps such as Docs2Go, Photo Editor and even Theme will be unaffected so does contacts etc? I am thinking to upgrade first and do all those things later so that everything will be functioning. If the update keeps coming like every quarter than it is not good. Why not summarize and RIM does it for once and only?!

Even at the time I am reading this there are several versions of updates available from the leaks...

9780, 9330, 9800, 9670, 9650 (but has a slower processor so I am not sure it would get it)

Looking forward to seeing BBID implemented! I wonder what kind of advantages it'll give the BB community.
