No OS7 won't run on 9800, OS requires the upgrades internals that comes with the 9810 and the other newer phones. .668 is the latest OS6 release for 9800 and you can find it in the 9800 forum.

A phone can "hang" due to a number of reasons. A quick fix is to do a battery pull and seeif that takes care of it. Let us know how it goes. We can go from here if it doesn't fix the lag.
I wish I had 10 million dollars. Buy a 9810 and your 'wish' will be fulfilled. OS7 isn't the second coming of you know who, lord knows that toggling must be torture.
