Default 6.0.0.706 vs. Hybrids

So I'm thinking of upgrading my OS, because I'm currently at 6.0.0.706 and I basically want something to make my Torch snappy and faster. So I was wondering if I should go with a hybrid OS or the new .706? And if hybrid, are there any recommended ones?

Thanks

People say the hybrids are faster. Complete lie.

They both run the same.

So, it really wouldn't make much of a difference upgrading to both.

Hybrids, in my opinion, are great but of course that's only my opinion. I currently use the BerryLicious 6 hybrid and one thing that's for sure is that it holds on to the 3G signal better. Other performance aspects such as battery life, browser speed, etc are slightly better in my opinion. Others may see it differently; just try both out and see for yourself.

I actually like the hybrids a bit more just because they are "lighter" by nature.

Can someone help me on how to install a hybrid, I tried the other day but I'm having trouble. The Desktop Manager can't find the update?

Follow the steps in the below thread, its pretty much what you would do for any/all hybrid installs.

raikkohad v9 multi device final version
