Default Problem with a .jad file

    Hey guys.

So I've downloaded a theme. Usually when I downloaded a theme, I'll receive a .jad file, an awful lot of .cod files, and sometimes one .alx file.
But when I downloaded this theme, I just get one .jad file. Usually when I received the .jad and .cod, I clicked the .jad, and there's an option saying "download". And then when the download finished, I go back to the home screen, and it said "found theme _______. Apply now?"
I've tried that method, but it says "download failed. 907 Invalid COD, File not found"

So my question is, how do I get the COD file?
    Anything will do.

    Thanks.

you should use your blackberry browser to download the jad file directly, your way may work on some website, but on others like mybbota.com you will get a 907 error instead.

I think you can use Blackberry Swiss Army Knife (BBSAK) to install a *.jad file.

Thanks for the replies! However, which one is the better, vnBBUtils or BBSAK?
Looks like BBSAK is better, is it?

jad files are installed OTA. BBSAK installs cods. Try the download again by turning off your wi-fi and trying just your carrier signal.

I believe if you have the jad file only you will get this error. You need to have the cod downloaded along with the jad ....I think lol.
    I waited...It launched...Im still waiting...

Version 1.9.1 of BBSAK has a button under "Modify CODs" marked "Install JAD". As BB-Bmore pointed out though, you must have the corresponding COD files in the same directory. If De_Berry had the correct COD file(s), he could do an installation with BBSAK this way. Not sure if he was downloading OTA; if so and he only got the JAD file, then maybe there was a bad link on the site. If that's the case, his best bet would be to go back to the website he downloaded the JAD file from, and search for a link to the COD file as well.

You can do an "OTA" download via a WIFI connection, I've done it lots of times and I have no data plan. If you can't connect to the site via WIFI, then you might be out of luck. Alternatively, you could try contacting the web admin of the site you were on and ask if you can get the files emailed to you.
