I also tried battery pull and my BBM icon is still gone. Thats really odd.

works great on my 8830, how can I have my name on the screen without it locked? the pictures of the theme at top show"roger's" how can I have.. "Jim's" there? oh and the time is a bit small and gets blocked by the incoming/outgoing arrows often.. but other than that it's pretty cool

Ok.. I think I just answered my question... is "rogers" the service provider?? that would make sense.. oh well it was a glimmer of hope that my name could be on the desktop.. ya know, My name in lights... LOL 15 mins of fame??? LOL

i dont have blackberry package so i tried downloading it to my computer and it wont work. it prompts me to open up a file. what should i do kevin?

Goto Options => About and you should find your OS there.
