    It only shows up when I am typing. Right hand corner shows ES....any ideas? Thx!

    If I'm not mistaken the ES is a language identification, possibly Spanish. US English is EN. You can suppress the identification by going to Options / Language and Text Input / Language ID: and selecting Hide.

    DawgMan is correct, any time you see a box with 2 letters in it, it is a language.

    EN-english
    FR-french
    and so on.

    When you have more than one language installed you can not hide the icon.
    only way to have it go away is to remove all extra languages you do not need.
