Waiting on my Style...
I finally found one on Ebay, I'll be getting it on the 26th.
I think this phone is definitely a step up from the 8330 my fiancee let me use.
I don't see too many people with this phone, Guess I'm going to be unique. Heh.
Any advice or feedback you'd give to a person who is fairly new to BB, and definitely new to the Style?
Thanks!ஜ۩۞۩ஜStore Manager~Boost Mobile/Virgin Mobileஜ۩۞۩ஜ - 06-23-2012, 02:43 PM #2
It's a pretty cool device. It runs like my old Bold9700. Has more memory than the 9700. And not only can you Style themes on it, Pearl 9100 themes run on it too.
Another plus about it is the external screen previews any messages that come in without having to open the phone. Many thanks, downloads and dollars to all the developers out there!!!Thanked by:Septembersrain912 (06-23-2012)

I love the Style. Big screen, awsome keypad, more memory than my BB9700, fits easily in the palm of my hand (as opposed to my bb9930 and 9900). I love the clamshell form. I bought my first one about 4 months ago (put it on PagePlus), bought my second one 3 weeks ago from Ebay but it only lasted about 3 weeks-Red led stuck on (I have tried everything and the ebay vendor sent me back $20 (I paid $46 for it) and now it won't charge to greater than 85% battery level. So now this second one I will use just for parts. I bought another one off Ebay last night (factory refurbished) and am waiting for it and will put it onto PagePlus. The Style is my favourite of all the Berries I own. I can't help myself-Blackberries are awsome.

Great to see a new face joining Style family. You'll be glad you did. I know Style is not the most popular BB but it is working great for me. IMO keyboard is the best of BB out there beside 9900. Web browsing is not as fast as OS7 but enough to get job done. No more pocket dialing, built tough and love the flip form
I suggest to get a charging dock & app called KBLauncher if you're planning to put a lot of apps like me. Universal search is ok but a little slow for me, so I programmed my convenience key to KBLauncher. Works great! With my charging dock on my desk at work, I have this BB going all day playing music or working as a desktop clock. Hope you'll enjoy as much as I do.

I'm honestly loving this phone. My boss was telling me about this new Curve we're getting but compared with the Style, It's a downgrade in my eyes.
OS7 I've heard has less apps available doesn't it? That's what I've heard anyways....
As long as I keep track of how much ram I have, I don't have to worry about the black clock. That was my only issue.
It's working out great for me so far.
I'm happy!

What carrier do you have, If you don't mind me asking?
Did they used to carry the Style?
I'd love it if we got a Bold someday.
I don't like all the Curves that we're mostly receiving.
I'd even take a Torch, They don't have any for CDMA though. Do they?

Congrats on getting your BB Style and that you're enjoying it. In about the next week or two I will be getting me a new 'Style' flip phone also. I just think they look so cool, plus I been a flip phone person for years with the Motorola IDEN phones I've had thru Boosts network. Been a Boost customer since 2005 and never had a problem with them. Got my BB Curve 8530 last Feb with them and absolutely love it, but want to give it to my son who is going to USF. This was my first BB, but for me the BB 'Style' rocks and I gotta have it.

Waiting on my style, also. Should be here by friday *fingers crossed for tomorrow*. Currently using a Sanyo Zio, but I have never gotten over my love of flip phones. The style looks like it will be right up my alley, but will take some getting used to since I have never used a Blackberry before.

Mine hasn't frozen up too often. I've had to use a RAM optimizer and the built in memory cleaner quite a bit but it's worth it.
I'd considered getting that new BB 9310, but besides a faster processor, the camera and screen size are like a downgrade.
I'm also finally used to the non-curve keyboard too. =]
