    Default Upgrades App World . Now App World Icon gone

    I upgraded App world yesterday and now the Icon is gone. I then went thru my browser to the BB web site and reinstalled it and it is still gone. It shows up in the options, application management as being installed. Also when I upgraded Facebook it did the exact same thing. Shows as installed but no icon so I can use the apps. Any ideas on what I can do to fix this. Thanks (BB App World 4.0.055 Facebook 3.2.0.12 Current version is 6.0 Bundle 3049)

    Uninstall ... then go here to reinstall : BlackBerry App World direct via your bb browser !

    I have same problem with App World icon disappearing after upgrade. I deleted App World from the applications list and reinstalled from the website, but at end of install get "Uncaught exception: no application instance."

    I have the same problem upgrading the appworld I then deleted, rebooted, installed from browser, rebooted and still the icon is missing

    Sorry to hear that, it seems that os6 support has been dwindling for some time...you could try blackberry beta zone, signup , and get an ota update
    3100 < RAZR < OS 4.5 < OS 6 == OS 7.1 & OS 2.1

    Is there anyway to get the previous version of BB App world? Or Facebook? Both were working fine before I upgraded.
