    Would any of the BB trackballs replace the trackpad - on the 9670?

    No, the software is specific to the trackpad, they are not interchangeable.

    If its a software issue then there got to be a way to crack it, perhaps by replacing a file...

    (I don't wan't to give up yet..)

    In the meantime I'm going to need a touch screen stylus
