I am on my second style 9670. Took it to Sprint to see why when I select a number to redial or from my phone book it ask me what country code do I want. The smart dial setting is set for 1+ USA. so now the second phone does the same thing. The other problems was visual voice mail, it can not be turned off, and locks up.. it still does, and if I miss a call I just manually call voice mail because it can take days for sprint to send you the message. Both phones have the same "latest" release..6.0 2426 Sprint said my first phone had bad firmware and the phone would not pass their test. Well I gues the second one is its twin brother.. I am not taking it back because they want $35 to replace it. I am not happy with BlackBerry even though I have had them for years.. This will be my last one when the contract expires.. unless someone has a fix.. do you?

I was having Visual Voicemail problem, as well, but it seems to be fixed. After upgrading the OS, VVM would not install itself. Kept giving me a notification that I was not signed up for VVM (which you do not have to sign up for with Sprint). I called tech support and two days later it was working. However, it was locking up, as you stated. After a couple battery pulls, it seems to be working fine (as of this morning). Try pulling your battery and see if that does it.

Oh yes forgot to mention that i get unhandled exception randomly on VVM AND it makes not difference in battery pulls, I have done so many the back is left off more than on; this is in my mind two serious problems with blackberry QNX version for the Style. Two phones and exact same problem with this software release v6.0.0.522 if there were a way to back down to the previous version, I would do it.

Yeah, I get the same error periodically, with this version of VVM. Battery pulls restore the program, but eventually it happens again. And without VVM working, you get no notifications of voicemails, so you periodically have to check for new voicemails. This only started after I upgraded to 6.0.0.522.

Same story with my phone after the "upgrade". I installed the free version of YouMail on my phone and that seems to work fine in place of the native VM.
