My style wont turn on

My dad sent me a blackberry style 9670 threw the mail.he sent it over night yesterday and I got it today .When i got it the battery was already in the phone so naturally i tried to just turn it on but nothing happend.So i tried charging it.the red light turned on and off but it still wouldnt turn on.So i took the battery out ,waited a few sec then put it back in still nothing.he sent me two batteries so i tried the other one but the same thing happend.the red light keeps coming on but the screen just stays black.I cant go to a srint store because there are nun where i stay..SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
