Just curious how much available memory other Style users have. I'm curious why my Style has around 253MB free and my wife's Style has almost 280MB. We both have the same apps (Opera Mini and Facebook). I erased all of the extra language packs and pre-loaded apps we didn't need from both phones. I replaced my Style and my new one is made in Canada. (253MB) My wife's Style is made in Mexico. My previous Style was also made in Mexico and that phone had about 270MB. These all had the most recent O.S (.407 I believe?) Any ideas?
I have 255MB free. Part of the answer you may be looking for. Do you have more contacts, texts, emails and a longer phone log then your wife?
Sorry, I guess I should've been more specific. We have about the same amount of contacts, all pulled in through Gmail. The file free difference has been pretty much the same since the phones were new. (no emails, texts, etc.) Both of our memory has dropped a little over time for reasons you have mentioned, but hers has consistently had around 30MB more than mine since the beginning. I installed the newest OS on both phones using DM.
