hi i m plannin got buy a blackberry style and i live in carribbean so i m not sure if the unlocked version of it works in carribbean, if i buy it from ebay.But most of them are sprint locked .plzzz anyone kno anything abt this .awaiting ur reply ,,,,thanx in advance

And no most carriers will not activate a flashed phone unless you are very lucky.

Unlocking is related to GSM devices. If you cannot have the device flashed to a local carrier that will allow it, you'd be wasting your money.
