Its really different looking - but some people thought the Pearl flip was beautiful while others thought it was really ugly, so to each his own.

Any Ideas where I can get the best price on one without a contract? I just got my 9550, so won't be eligible for an upgrade for way too long!

I had the Flip and didn't like it. I think the new clamshell BB is ugly. I don't mind clamshell forms... for some phones. But not this one.

IMO RIM should stick to the classic BB design that's a 480 X 360 screen, with a QWERTY keyboard. This is the trade mark for a BB.

RIM shouldn't go around following other designs in order to market the BB.

I like so far what im seeing and owning a 8220 its good to see Rim hasnt abandoned the clamshell side. OS6 also seems to be running really smooth on it by looking at videos. So im probably gonna grab me one of this babies if i like the end product.
