Memo to RIM: Just because the Bold has an amazing keyboard does NOT mean you need to put it on every single device in the future. This device is the definition of awkward. I think that if they can get the feel of this thing right from the very start that this would be a great device.

Granted, it does look very awkward with the huge Bold-style QWERTY, but I was always kind of partial to the 82XX Pearl Flip. It had a great high-quality feel to it, and it had a nice 'heft in the hand' for its small size, which made it very pocket-friendly, however it suffered by not having the trackpad technology at the time of its conception (read=trackball inside a flip-phone is ********).

I've never been a fan of wearing my phone in a hip-pouch or side-holster because I think it makes you look like a ******-bag, and this new 9670 looks like it could be small enough for my pocket.

Would much rather have had it with the physical Sure-Type keyboard though.

I also like the large secondary screen on the outside, it would make self-portraits a **** of a lot easier.

I like the Specs, and i like the clamshell form factor but as i said in a different thread, this phone has to be HUGE when opened.

the problem with this phone is it has too much dead space. the bb button area, the folding area, bottom on the keyboard, and so on. if they worked on trimming the fat on the device it wouldnt be that bad.
