Battery Port was loose, now broken!

I noticed the batter port where I plug the charger in getting a little wiggly, then I noticed my phone wasn't charging all the time unless I wiggled the charger and got it to just the right place. I was having to literally set up my phone in a certain position all the time in order to have it charge, it was frustrating.
It got to the point where I had to sit and hold the charger in an exact spot, and all of a sudden I felt it crack inside. Then there was no hope, it wouldn't charge at all. So it's been dead now for about a day and I OF COURSE do not have insurance, so I'm left wondering if sprint will be able to fix it. Or ANYONE for that matter. Is there a way to charge the battery outside of my phone?

I was already leaning toward moving away from blackberry and now this definitely confirms my decision.

Just buy a charging pod, it sits right in it and there is no need to worry about the port.
