Waiting for a new BB S2 over a month ago I decided to just go for the 9930 and call it a day. I had insurance on the S2 and recieved it in the mail so that made me the owner of two fairly new BBs (of course the S2 was probably refurbished). I have utilized the S2 a few times just to use for pics, quick (ha) wifi usage, and obtain links to apps that I would copy over the my 9930 (OS 7 users know what I'm talking about).
Tonight I decided to charge it up and I happen to have the Desktop Manager on so it did its normal routin of just syncing up the BB, but then I noticed Desktop Manager froze, and the S2 was shut off. I figured "No, problem..." and proceeded to just shut down DM and pull the cord from the device. Immediately the Storm began to boot back up with the indication of the red LED going solid for a few second, but then all of the white aura/ghost screen appeared which of course caught my attention.
Keep in mind I did nothing at all to damage the device in anyway and from the looks of it I haven't even had the time to take off crappy plastic covering the screen.
Anyways here is the video and you guys and come up with your own conclusion to why this has happened. I can honestly care less as to whats wrong with it since it's not my primary, but I think its kinda sorta cool, geeky, and mysterious to have.
