Weird FB mobile glitch?

I noticed a weird Facebook glitch that has appeared over the last day or two on my Storm 2 (running .1082). When I open up FB through the Blackberry browser, there will be random gaps in the text (ex. "Went to t he store to day, bought som e chee se.") It's totally random. When I open up the Blackberry FB app, or use Opera, these gaps are nonexistent on my phone (and similarly, on my PC, the gaps are not there either). The only website that seems to be affected is FB, as none of my other usual bookmarks are experiencing anything even remotely similar.

Has anyone else experienced something like this? I've tried fiddling with some of the browser settings to no avail. I'm at a loss here as to what the issue could be. Any help would be most greatly appreciated!

Sounds like nobody else seems to have experienced a problem like this. Darn. I've tried battery pulls. I'm hesitant to reinstall the OS because this only developed over the past few days, and I've been running .1082 for a week and a half or so without any such problem. I'm wondering if it isn't something between FB and how the BB browser formats pages? I don't know. All I know is the BB browser is the only one (for me) that is experiencing this. I'll see if I can post a screenshot soon as well.

Still having the glitch. I'm going to try and downgrade the OS on the phone and see if that fixes it.

Just downgraded to OS .1015 and the glitch is still present. Is anyone else experiencing this at all? The only thing I've changed on my phone in the same period as this glitch was the OS upgrade. I'm honestly at a loss as to what is causing this.

I have the same problem! I had a tour and it did it and I just got a Storm 2 wqhich also does it.

Update: family member is in town who also has a Verizon Storm2, both my FB account on his phone and his FB account have the same issue. I have no idea what's causing this!

At least other folks know what I'm talking about, I felt like a cast away in this thread. Much appreciated folks.

I had this problem with 1015, just installed 1082. Hopefully it's gone.

I first noticed this glitch on .1082, and reverted to .1015, and it was still there. I'm wondering if it isn't a server-side issue and FB and the BB browser are having some sort of conflict. I can't think of any other reason, especially since people besides me (:P) now are having the problem too, haha.

Mine is doing it too and it just started. It only does it about half the time. I just scrolled through the FB app and it's not doing it. Same thing w the web version of FB. Some times it'll have the spaces, other times it won't.

Yes mine has been doing that for a while as well. Also when I recently upgraded to the new FB version when I'm on the mobile application, the app "freezes" sometimes when I open it or when I go refresh. I've had to delete the app and reinstall a few times just because I'm getting pissed. How about that one???

It's a known problem around these parts with the new FB app. Whether RIM releases a fix is anyone's guess. But it is affecting many users. You're not alone!
