Question Vote - Screen Protector - Yes or No?

If you are a Storm, Bold 99xx, or Torch user with a full or duo-role touchscreen... do you use/recommend a screen protector?

...with all due respect to Dx3me, who started a recent huge thread (we can't easily count up all the replies) and to old polls back in 2009 -- let's get the current CB take on this question... (this poll is on the neew 99xx site, but this site has more users today)

I use one, and have since day one of owning the phone. Have had one nasty gash of unknown origin that forced a replacement of the original screen protector. I would assume it would have scratched the glass had the protector not been there because it was deep.

Personally, it's cheap insurance to me. As someone who is OCD about minute scratches on things like glasses or LCD screens, it works for me.

Not for me,
Haven't used one in ages on many different devices.
Good Luck

Is glove the technical term for it? I always called it "the little rubber sleeve/case/thingy that fits around my phone"

I have had several major drops, way too many to count. I use a screen protector and don't have any scratches. I've been amazed that no damage has ever happened to my BB as many times as it has had hard falls (back cover off, batteries flying out). And I don't have a glove on it.

I use both the screen protector as well as the soft glove on my S2, and same thing...have dropped it/banged it against things a number of times, and it still looks like new when I do a battery pull to re-boot. "Don't leave home without it"
