Unlocked Storm 2 -software issue stopping calls/texts

Hi All,

Any help is much appreciated here. I unlocked my Storm 2 only to discover that I could connect to the 3G network but could not call or text or recieve calls or texts. I then updated the OS to the latest version and it was all good in the hood. Something random has happened and I'm back to square 1 again with no ability to call, text or recieve calls or texts but I can access the internet?!

Desperate to get this all working so any help is much appreciated!!!!

What carrier are you trying to use it on ??

Have you tried to switch to 2G and trying ???

Yeah it doesn't make a difference unfortunatley. I updated the OS to the latest firmware and the phone worked fine for about 12 hours then it's decided to not phone/text or recieve calls/texts again.

Anyone know where I can get the files for Pre 5.0 firmware?

Are you sure this device is compatible with that carrier?

There are none. The Storm2 shipped with OS 5.

Re-installing the OS solved the issue for about 12 hours......then once again my calls and texts stopped, data is fine. When I first turned the phone on it said GSM.....when I changed to 2g in the network settings it makes no difference. Sent service book and registered etc but no luck. Any registry settings I can change??
