Default Typing issues, PLEASE HELP!

Hi!

I just got a Storm 2 and am getting really frustrated with typing. I type in English and Dutch but it keeps not letting me type certain words. When I type dat, it automatically capitalizes the whole word. WhenI type "***" it becomes ***, "you" becomes YOY, when I type "al" it becomes Al, "ben" becomes Ben, nog becomes NIF, etc you get the picture. Also almost all 2 letter words become fully capitalized and it adds letters itself. Is there a way in which i can set this thing so i only puts in what I type? A capital after a period is fine but for the rest, I'd like to decide manually when to capitalize a letter... I feel like i've tried all the combinations in the settings by now.. Also, can I get rid of those boxes while I type with suggested words?

PLEASE HELP MEEE!!! Thanks for your time!!!!

Go into options, click on language and text input... then click the 'show text input options' button. From there you can turn off predictive text for example.

You should also make sure the auto word and context learning is turned on, then whenever you type on the suretype (portrait) keyboard make sure to backspace when it predicts a word wrong and correct it, then it will learn over time.
