Text message make new paragraph

I just got the storm 2 and there are two things that annoy me, one is the enter button sends my text messages and on my curve that button made a new paragraph. My question is how do you drop down a line (make a new paragraph) when texting on the storm 2?

I understand the OS 5.0.32 doesn't have the feature to turn off the enter button from sending, hope verizon releases an os update soon.

options>sms text>press enter key to send> click no and save

My os doesn't have that option in SMS Text

Any idea about the creating a new paragraph?

upgrade your OS to 451

Shift + Enter will go to the next line without sending message. You should load .451 tho it is much better

my suggestion would be to upgrade but to leave the option of enter to end, than all you have to do is press shift and enter to get a new line

My problem is a little different. On 451 and 497 when i open a existing tread i have to open keyboard everytime

And to take it a step further when I hit the keyboard key it usually doesn't come up the first time. If I touch the blank spot where you type it goes straight to the BB menu and /i have to close that before I continue.
